Blackbourn Social Media Fellow Riyan Barnett is a senior at The University of Alabama where she is studying News Media and is recognized for her exemplary academic record and inclusion on the President’s List. She serves as Vice President of Kappa Tau Alpha Honor Society and as Parliamentarian of her chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Beyond her academic and leadership involvement, she contributes to Crimson Tide Productions, creating sports promotional content for the University of Alabama Athletics and supporting broadcasts for the SEC Network.
